On
a sunny day in 1958, Hutchinson Hospital Auxiliary began a
tradition of caring that has endured for 50 years.
The 530 members of the Auxiliary are special people with
warm smiles and big hearts. From
delivering mail at the hospital to working at the
information desk, thrift shop and coffee shop,
Auxiliary members help make patients and visitors
feel welcome.
Hutchinson Area
Health Care is recognized as a leader among area
hospitals in its use of technology, thanks in part
to generous support from the Auxiliary.
-
The Auxiliary has donated over
$1.6 million for
capital improvements, hospital programs and
life-saving technologies.
-
From digital
imaging equipment to cardiac monitors to new
ambulances, the Auxiliary’s contributions make a
real difference to the health and well-being of our
community.
Auxiliary volunteers
are needed just 4 hours/month. Hours are flexible to fit
into your busy schedule. Orientation and training will
be provided.
Auxiliary meetings
are the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 9:30 AM in
Conference room A/B in the lower level of the Hospital.
Guests are welcome!
