We believe it’s essential to get our younger generation excited about the good work we do in healthcare. 

We offer a number of opportunities for students, including Internships, Job Shadowing, Clinical Rotations, and Junior Volunteers positions. 

Internships

• The student or teacher must contact Leah Hoversten at 234-3832 a minimum of two weeks in advance of the date they wish to be on site.   
    

• This time frame is required to ensure there is enough time to have everything in order when you arrive. After the student or teacher has made contact, a packet of information will be sent out. This packet must be completed and returned prior to your first day on site. The packet includes safety information, a confidentiality form and a parental consent form.  
  

• Immunizations must be up to date for intern students  In addition, a tuberculosis screening and a criminal background check must be completed. 

Job Shadow

Shadowing involves a student observing an employee for a designated period of time. The student does not participate in providing care or treatment. 
 

Clinical Rotation

Students complete clinical rotations as part of an academic program without an instructor on-site. This includes, but is not limited to refresher nursing students and students in lab, nuclear medicine, physical therapy, respiratory care and ultrasound.
