Digital
Mammography
We
offer full-field digital mammography –one of the most advanced
technologies available to detect breast cancer-- as a part of
its breast care services. The hospital also is offering extended
hours to make it more convenient to fit a mammogram into your
busy schedule.
The
difference between traditional screen-film imaging and
new full-field digital mammography is similar to the
differences between film and digital photos.
Like
a 35-millimeter camera, analog equipment uses film for
each image. Digital mammography takes an electronic
image of the breast and stores it into a computer.
Extended
Hours
To
make it convenient for women to get their yearly mammograms,
women can schedule mammograms from 6:30 AM to 8 PM Monday and
Thursday and 6:30 AM to 4 PM Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

anytime through PACS, Picture Archiving
Communications System. When several physicians are
involved in your care, they can simultaneously view
your images online and consult regarding your
