Mindful of our
responsibility to the communities we serve,
Hutchinson Area Health Care provides significant
community benefits annually through outreach and
charitable care. In 2007, our contributions to
the community exceeded $5 million. Community
benefits ranged from covering the costs of almost $2.7
million in unreimbursed care for Medicaid beneficiaries to working with area agencies to provide good nutrition
for the elderly through the "Meals on Wheels"
program to offering numerous programs to enrich the
health and well-being of our communities. From
educational programs to charity care to community
building, it is important to us to support the
